Clare and David's Wedding

Hair: I loved creating Clare's wedding hair, which was wonderfully elegant and sophisticated. The style was achieved by curling the hair with straightening irons, partially creating a curly bun and then strategically placing the rest of the hair, section by section over the top.

Make-up: For Clare's make-up, we chose to use Jane Iredale's mineral make-up. This is a fantastic choice if you have sensitive skin and the finish really is flawless. As the product doesn't contain Parabens or any artificial preservatives, it doesn't aggravate the skin, but works wonderfully well to calm and sooth it. Clare choose to have brown tones in the eye make-up which really brought out and complimented the blue in her eyes for her finished wedding make-up look.

Gemma and Aled's Wedding

Location: Newick Park Hotel

Hair: This gorgeous hairstyle had a slight Spanish theme to it which worked perfectly with Gemma's over all wedding look. Having curled all the hair, I then slightly back brushed the crown for height and the hair was then placed in to a side pony tail. To create the bun, the pony tail was simply pinned in and to finish the style the fringe was brushed softly around the face and secured behind the ear.

Make-up: Gemma's wedding make-up worked perfectly with her beautiful olive skin and when I used one of Jemma Kidd's dark brown shades to intensify the eye make-up, It really enhanced the look. Gemma chose to wear her own bright pink cerise lipstick which looked amazing on her skin tone and also complemented the colour theme chosen for her bridesmaids.

Kim and Chris's Wedding

Location: Wadhurst Castle, East Sussex
Married: June 2010

Hair: Kim's georgeous wedding hair was a wonderfully simple wedding style. Having sectioned the hair in 2, I then created a bun at the back. The rest of the hair was taken back over the bun, twisted and gently curled with straighteners so that the hair sat neatly over the top. The flowers beautifully finished the style off and complemented the final look.??

Make-up: To create Kim's beautiful look, I used Jane Iredale's mineral make-up. Using J.I dream tint as a primer, I then used the licquid minerals over the top which made a great base for the rest of the make-up giving the skin a flawless finish. Using a combination of brown eye shadows, really brought out the blue in Kim's eyes and was enhanced when I used black/brown eye liner along her lashes. I finished Kims wedding make-up look with a prity pink lipstick.

Maddy and Alex's Wedding

Hair: Maddy's wedding hair was set on heated rollers for volume and fullness. When the hair was dressed out, it then beautifully framed the face. The crown was gently back brushed for height and when I pinned the hair in, it was wonderfully flattering. The style was finished off with some pretty fresh flowers.

Make-up: Maddy's wedding make-up was simple and georgeous. I enhanced her beautiful skin by incorperating some of MAC lustre drops into the foundation which gave a lovley fresh feel to the look. I also used some of MAC's half lashes just to enhance and open up her eyes and the lips were finished also with a MAC gloss called Saplicious.

Hannah & Brendan's Wedding

Hair: Hannah's wedding hair was a simple, effective and georgeous half up, half down hair style. Easily created, the hair was first set on heated rollers and dressed out brushing the hair around the face to keep it soft in appearance.

Make-up: Hannah loved this strong smokey brown look, that really complimented and brought out the blue in her eyes. She preffered to use her own foundation which was specifically matt for her skin type, but still beautiflly worked with the rest of the make-up. The end result had a wonderfully fresh finish.

Jess Terrill's Wedding

Hair: This beautiful sophisticated hair style, had a Grecian theme to it. It was created by first curling the hair, making 2 pony tails at the back of the head and then pinning the already curled hair in to make what appears to look like an elongated bun, following the natural head shape down. The fringe was swept round the face and pieces left out in front of the ears to soften the finished result.

Make-up: Jess wanted to achieve a glamorous smokey wedding make-up look, using browns to create It. I used mainly a combination of MAC products, blending, smudging and highlighting specific areas on the eyes, to really intensify the look. Giving Jess a strong focal point to the make-up meant that the lips had to be soft, glossy and natural.

Dawn and John's Wedding

Hair: Dawn's gorgeous wedding hair was very simply achieved, by placing heated rollers in, creating a low side pony tail and then pinning the hair in to make a soft bun. The style was perfectly finished off by adding some sparkly pin's.

Make-up: Dawn's wedding make-up was a wonderful, classic wedding look. As Dawn's skin was slightly dry, I used some of MAC's lustre drops in the foundation to achieve an extra dewy finish, this then gave her skin an incredible flawless result. To open the eyes, I used some of the MAC half lashes which looked fantastic and totally finished the look.

Gwendoline and Matt's Wedding

Hair: This beautiful up do, was created for Gwendoline by simply placing heated rollers into hair, then twisting the hair up at the back and pinning it in place for a curly, soft finish. The fringe was left out to gently frame the face.

Make-up: Gwendoline's wedding make-up was a a lovley summery look, using MAC make-up. The idea was to create a fresh, dewy and flawless finish.

Katy Reeves' Wedding

Hair: Katy's hair was a wonderfully simple half up down style, created by cone tonging the hair - gently back brushing the top and securing the style just below the crown for some height. Katy's bridesmaid hair was also beautifully finished by adding a perfectly matched hair piece, to complement her own natural hair.

Make-up: Katy's wedding make-up was created by using Jemma Kidds Dual illuminator over the eye and using a stronger brown to intensify the socket. MAC's Reflects Gold was dotted on the eye lid for an extra dazzling finish. For Katy's bridesmaid, I created a smoky look which fantastically complemented the final look.

Amy McCardie's Wedding

Hair: Amy's hair was created by first setting the hair on heated rollers. To construct the height and beautiful arrangement of curls, the hair was split in to two pony tails and then pinned into place. The finished look was then achieved by taking the hair round the face to create a soft frame.

Make-up: Amy's beautiful wedding make-up incorporated MAC's paints and pigments working with a pink theme in mind. To intensify the look and also give it a smoky feel, a brown shade was used underneath the eyes. The skin was kept youthful and fresh and the lips were finished with a complementing pink shade.

Faye and Mal's Wedding

Hair: Faye's hair was a simple but gorgeous style incorporating 2 wefts to add length and volume. After the wefts were added the hair was placed in a low side pony tail, the hair was then curled and pinned in for this wonderfully lush, curly bun effect finish.

Make-up: Fay's make up was quite unique but totally matched her over all colour scheme. I used a combination of Gemma Kidd's colours to create a molten silver and brown effect. This gave depth to the eye but also fabulously smoky. The skin was flawless and dewy.

Emma Hill's Wedding

Hair: Styling Emma's wedding hair, was made easier by adding a blonde weft. This instantly made the hair thicker and created that extra bit of length to twist and pile up on top. The fringe was left to frame and and finish this beautiful, soft look.

Make-up: Emma wanted to create a beautiful, natural wedding make-up look. I used MAC to create this flawless finish and used colours that enhanced her eyes. The lip colour choice was also important, ensuring that it beautifully blended to match her chosen colour scheme

Louise Marter's Wedding

Hair: Louise's hair was a really beautifully simple, but effective style to achieve. After the hair had been placed into a pony tail, sections were taken and barrel curls were created leaving the ends out and then straightened for a spikey finish.

Make-up: Louise's wedding make-up was designed to match her skin and achieve the beautiful flawless look that you see in the image. The final touch was made by adding some MAC half lashes to open and extend the outer corner of the eyes.

Lucy and Dennis' Wedding

Hair: Lucy's hair was a popular half up, half down style. It was achieved by setting the hair on heated rollers. The front fringe section was then smoothed and swept round the face, joining it into the curly hair at the back. The hair was gripped and secured just below the crown and then cone tonged for that extra special finish.

Make-up: Creating Lucy's wedding make-up was done by using one of MAC's foundations in conjunction with some carefully chosen eye shadows working wonderfully together for the beautiful natural, youthful finished look.

Melissa and Tim's Wedding

Hair: Creating this fantastic over all finish for Melissa was done by firstly setting her hair on heated rollers and then adding matching extension wefts to her own. The hair was back brushed on the crown to create height and secured just below. Brushing the hair round the head at the back, tonging the hair with the cone tong and pinning the hair in to it self, for the finished look.

Make-up: Melissa's make-up was dewy, youthful and flawless, but wonderfully simple. I created this look by using MAC make-up and it was finished off with a complementing lipstick to her wedding colour scheme.

Editorial Photoshoots

Jess Terill's Vintage Photo Shoot

Jess's look was specifically created for a photo and video shoot.
Jess was previously a wedding client.

Hair: Jess's gorgeous vintage themed wedding hair style was easily achieved by first setting the hair on heated rollers and then styling it to a loose side bun. The hair at the front was then plaited round and pinned in to the rest of the curls. I then placed in some beautiful crystals to give some extra sparkle and finish the look off.

Make-up: To continue the vintage theme through with the make-up, I used one of MAC's pigments to achieve this wonderful natural tone. The eye's were really enhanced with the liner. But for real vintage, It's the brows and lips that really bring this finished look together.
