I can hardly believe that it is May already! May is perhaps our favourite month at CWH , it is a totally perfect month for your wedding day and here are a few reasons why
1. It’s pretty much the start of summer, so it’s less likely to clash with other weddings during that season, and it means you can enjoy the summer partying – not planning.
2. Potential guests are less likely to be on summer holidays.
3. There are two bank holidays, so you can make a really long weekend of it.
4. May falls outside of peak summer pricing so you will save around 20% on venue hire compared to other more popular summer months.
Plus we just love all the beautiful flowers this month which complement our beautiful brides. I am going to write about one of Claire’s favourite Susses wedding venues but first here are just some images of the fantastic and varied work that our very talented team of stylists have created recently.
Holly worked at a stunning wedding at lovely Winkworth Farm in the Cotswolds
Holly created this wonderful bridal hair for Korrine who got married there.
Busy Holly also worked at another wedding, this time she designed make up for pretty Kayleigh and her bridesmaid .
Our skilled stylist Zara who covers the Hampshire area had a really fun job, working at a Bollywood Ball creating fabulous hair and make up looks for Bollywood babes. Here are a great selection of photos form the day. This looks like such a cool event and just shows how diverse being a hair and make up artist is.
Carlos is our talented London based stylist and he has just came back form a photoshoot in India and sent through these gorgeous photos of his work. Just wow!
Our wonderful creative director Claire worked at Winkworth Barns recently, a venue that she truly loves. Both she and our lovely stylist Elloise designed gorgeous make up for pretty bride Anna and her wedding party.
Claire really enjoyed every minute of working here with such a lovely bride. there was even a piper present!
Now a little bit more about this wonderful wedding venue….
Established as a wedding venue in 2012, so a relative newcomer to the scene, this lovingly restored working farm near Chichester radiates rustic charm and authenticity. The barn complex features a fabulous 200 year old Threshing Barn, which has a winning combination of open beams and wrought iron chandeliers, this area can accommodate up to 150 wedding guests. There is also the ascendant Dairy Barn which is fully licensed for civil ceremonies, this too can accommodate 150 guests and features a wonderful 22 meter aisle and hand made chestnut benches for your guests to sit upon during your ceremony. The pretty landscaped gardens and lovely courtyard make ideal locations for your wedding pictures . There is even a bridal suite , The Milking Parlour where you can get ready and also retire to throughout the day with your partner. One wonderful feature of this venue is that they allow pets to attend the wedding ceremony, ( providing that they are well behaved of course), just ask the dedicated wedding planning team beforehand and this can all be incorporated into your day.
This is a truly romantic and beautiful wedding venue with so much thought put into every detail and impressively the farm and gorgeous gardens are built and run using the latest environmentally sustainable technology.
