Set just 5 miles from bustling Brighton on a working farm, Pangdean Old Barn offers two individual spaces in which you can celebrate your wedding day. Every detail is covered here from the easy access to the venue to the catering which is provided by Pangdean’s own fabulous catering company Hunger Pangs (successfully run by present owner Nicky Currie).
Originally built around 1720, this incredible oak beamed barn has been sympathetically and tastefully converted into one of the premier and relaxed wedding venues in Sussex.
Pangdean was included in the Doomsday Book of 1086 as Pingden and later on in history George IV purchased the farm in the early 19th Century to house his regal hounds! This listed building is an idyllic rustic setting for your wedding and also offers choice of venue for the ceremony, the Old Barn, The Stables and also outdoors under a 500 year old mulberry tree.
This is a romantic and individual wedding venue, with the backdrop of the rolling South Downs that offers year round style and comfort.
