Orchardleigh Park, near Frome in Somerset, is the perfect English fairytale venue for your wedding day. The present house was built in 1856 by Thomas Henry Wyatt with a slightly Elizabethan influence and is Grade II listed.
On the grounds of the estate is the thirteenth century Church of St Mary which enjoys the unique setting of being at the edge of a lake with a moat around the Church. The estate also houses the Orchardleigh Stones, a probable Neolithic burial chamber. Steeped in rich history, Orchardleigh House is set within 550 acres of private parkland including 33 acres of ornamental lakes, with it’s own 18 hole golf course and has sumptuous and and luxurious rooms for you and your wedding guests.
Orchardleigh’s enchanting Walled Garden comprises a grand and light-filled Orangery, surrounded by extensive stunning Gardens and graceful water features, all hidden within the walls of a genuine Victorian Walled Garden. There is also a second church housed within the estate.All Saints at Lullington where you can have your wedding ceremony. The estate even offers a fleet of fabulous vintage car,s including a 1965 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud, which you can hire for your big day.
