Old Ship Hotel – Brighton

Reputedly the oldest hotel in the city, the Old Ship Hotel dates back to 1559 and is steeped in royal connections and history. The Old Ship Hotel was established in 1559, making it Brighton’s oldest hotel. The road the hotel currently is on which runs parallel to the seafront, King’s Road, was not built until the 1800s.

There are five stunning and unique function rooms for you to chose from in which to hold your ceremony and wedding breakfast. The Paganini Suite was recently restored back to its former Regency glory with a floating balcony and stunning detail, and can hold up to 250 guests, the Regency Suite accommodates up to 120, the Gresham Suite, 55, the Fecamp Lounge, which overlooks the sea can hold up to 60 guests while the more intimate and romantic Cellars accommodates 30 for wedding breakfasts.

There is a dedicated team of wedding coordinators at the hotel who will ensure that your special day goes without hitch. Wedding photo opportunities abound a plenty in Brighton and the Old Ship Hotel is literally a stones throw away form the beach and the romantic backdrop of the West and Place Piers, whilst  the fabulous Brighton Pavilion is a few moments walk away.
