Hever Castle – Edenbridge, Kent

Situated on the Kent/Surrey/Sussex border, Hever Castle is one of the most incredibly romantic places in the whole of England to get hold your wedding.

Hever Castle is over 700 years old and has an impressive historical heritage. This unimpeachable venue was originally a 13th Century country house but is most famous for having been childhood home of Anne Boleyn, the second of the wives of the most infamous of English monarchs, Henry VIII, who in turn inherited the property and bestowed it upon the fourth of his wives, Anne of Cleeves as part of her annulment settlement … confusing eh?!

The castle’s incredible grounds include the Millennium Fountain a water maze and a yew maze, you can even get wed in the stunning Italian Water Garden. The 125 acres of  grounds really are breathtaking! The discerning  bride is able to have a choice of setting for her big day, either the castle itself with all the grandeur and luxury, a country house feel of the Astor Wing or even an amazing lakeside wedding. The decision is yours, and each has it’s own fairytale like quality to be enjoyed.

The dedicated wedding planning team provide the most superb service you could imagine and Claire adores working at weddings here. Suffice to say this venue is steeped in national history and the double moated castle provides a most regal and magical setting for your wedding.
