Farbridge is a lovely unique wedding venue, created for a collection of Sussex flint barns which have been expertly renovated specifically to operate as the perfect venue for your civil ceremonies and wedding receptions. Situated in West Dean near Chichester in Sussex, the venue won a Sussex Heritage Trust award for it’s development and can offer seated dining for up to 150 guests.
The buildings and the estate were owned by Edward James who was a noted art collector and philanthropist of the early twentieth century, (he was an avid fan and mentor of the surrealist artist Salvidor Dali). The barns now have their own reputation as a very special wedding setting and are much sought after.
The Meadow Barn features timbered beams and a spectacular view, the courtyard outside overlooks the South Downs and the flowing river Lavant. The venue is great for all year round weddings as there is a sheltered courtyard garden and the views are simply breathtaking. The building marries modern with old world, there is an environmentally friendly carbon neutral boiler which provides underfloor heating, and an incredible state of the art dance floor and sound system.
The professional and poised staff offer an immaculate service and will make sure your wedding day is perfect.
