Bailiffscourt Hotel and Spa in Climping, West Sussex, is a unique wedding venue: despite being built less than 100 years ago in 1927 as a high society home, the hotel gives the impression of an ancient Medieval summer house.
Originally designed for Lord Moyne, of the illustrious Guinness family, by the architect Amyas Phillips, using original stonework, wood and other features from around Britain, this amazing building became a hotel in 1948. Near to the seaside resort of Climping, around 5 miles from the beautiful town of Arundel, the hotel and spa is set in 30 acres of private parkland, the grounds dotted with tiny Medieval outbuildings, shrubs, flowers and peacocks.
The luxurious spa is in contract housed in an airy contemporary building. Climping beach is one of the most unspoilt, natural beaches in Sussex and makes for a perfect backdrop for wedding pictures and the original Norman chapel in Baliffscourt’s grounds is also another photographic joy.
There is highly efficient and friendly wedding team at this venue, who will help you enjoy the individual and romantic charm of this incredible place. As a wedding venue this is second to none for charm, romance and style.
